McGill University, established in 1821 by James McGill, is a renowned English-language public research institution in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. With over 39,000 students, its main campus sits on Mount Royal in downtown Montreal, while a second campus is located in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. McGill is a prestigious member of the Association of American Universities and the only Canadian representative in the Global University Leaders Forum. Offering a vast array of programs across more than 300 fields of study, its six largest faculties include Arts, Science, Medicine, Education, Engineering, and Management.
